LOVELAND
The three-day ARISE Music Festival runs Aug 5-7 in Loveland, Colorado boasting an impressive lineup of music, workshops, yoga, feature presenters and playshop sessions. Showcasing a national and international lineup that reads like a who’s who of conscious performers including festival headliners Ziggy Marley, Jurrasic 5, Papadosio, Elephant Revival, Hard Working Americans, Wildlight, New Mastersounds, Rising Appalachia and much more.
With the addition of the ARISE Music Festival featured “Playshop Sessions” the festival has announced 5 additional improvised performances featuring various members of the headlining roster.
Performance workshops include a Guitar Summit, featuring members of The New Mastersounds, Jeff Austin Band, Euforquestra, The Motet and Felabration and a session named Horns Unite featuring Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, Austin Zaletel & Matt Bricker. Additionally, the festival will feature members of Elephant Revival in a unique workshop called How Songs Take Shape, as well as a forum for singers aptly named Join the Choir with the T-Sisters, along with two separate Songwriters in the Round sessions with performers such as Mike Love, Alya Nero, and Marcus King. Fans of bluegrass will not want to forget their instruments, as they can participate in the fun by joining the scheduled ‘bluegrass picking’ session with local rising stars, Gypsy Moon.
The ARISE Music Festival coordinates outstanding opportunities for music fans to connect intimately with the featured performers in an applied learning setting with rousing workshops, presentations, and Playshop Sessions. These collaborations highlight main stage band members in a rare improvisational setting.
Audience members will have a unique and up-close opportunity to learn about the process of making music while taking part in five scheduled sessions. Part performance and part story-telling, Playshop Sessions allow for an intimate and original experience as audience, participants, and artists engage in a variety of topics from songwriting to performing, allowing a behind-the-scenes view into the musician’s creative process.
