Join Estes Park’s fifth annual Bike to Work Day, June 28

Group of bicyclistsThe Estes Park Cycling Coalition is hosting Estes Park’s fifth annual Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 28. Cyclists will be offered a free breakfast, coffee, giveaways, informational booths, bike check-ups, and live entertainment from 6-9 a.m. at the Estes Park Visitor Center, 500 Big Thompson Avenue. Estes Park joins communities across the state to encourage residents to try bicycle commuting as a healthy and safe alternative to driving, and activities will take place rain or shine.

Sponsored by Estes Park Mountain Shop, Estes Park Medical Center, Kind Coffee, The Egg & I, Estes Valley Partners for Commerce, Estes Park Yoga, Salud Family Health Centers, Mountaintop Physical Therapy, Sunrise Rotary, Twin Owls Steakhouse, Rocky Mountain Health Club, Estes Valley Library, Ed’s Cantina, Lumpy Ridge Brewery, Rock Cut Brewing Company, Estes Park Running Club, Estes Park News, Town of Estes Park, and the Estes Park Cycling Coalition. All ages welcome – including anyone who’s not heading to work and walkers!

Looking at items at a boothThe mission of the Estes Park Cycling Coalition (EPCC) is to promote and increase cycling of all kinds in the Estes Valley, through advocacy, education, partnerships and community building. The EPCC strives to cultivate a biking culture in the community and make the Estes area a destination for cyclists. New members are always welcome! Information about participating in the club, group rides, and other events are posted at www.bikeestes.org, as well as informational articles on bicycling safety, tips, and reflections from the community.
