Grab your friends and family this Saturday for an extraordinary flood relief event on the one year anniversary of the flood in Lyons. All net proceeds of the ride fees will go to benefit the Lyons Community Fund and the great work they are doing to restore the town.
Cyclists 4 Lyons is bringing cyclists together, Sept. 13, to make a difference in flood recovery. They’ve lined up three great rides to choose from to start the day, followed by an afternoon of great food, beer, auction, and stories from pro riders and from some of the people we are coming together to help in Lyons. Rides include a beautiful road ride up to Raymond ($50 registration fee), a Cruiser Ride ($25 registration fee), and limited size group ride up Picture Rock Trail and the Wild Turkey Loop (registration fee $100).
The event starts at 9 a.m. with the Cyclists 4 Lyons rides with entertainment throughout the day, including a kids area with an adjacent bike park, live music, beer, food trucks and silent/live auction. This is an all day community event for all. Later in the day, Governor Hickenlooper will be speaking and The Infamous Stringdusters headlining VIVA Lyons. Event is free to get in, $5 parking.
Space is limited, so register soon at: http://c4lyons.org/rides
